I have been practicing intuitive healing for 15 years.
What is an Intuitive Counselor or Healer?
My clients refer to me as their intuitive “Life Coach” or “Spiritual Counselor.” In my intuitive practice I use many modalities of healing. I prefer to use a combination of techniques to find answers and direction for my clients. Each session is as unique as each client. A wonderful aspect of intuition is how accurate it can be in discovering how to help a client!
In a typical session I will use three or more modalities including Reiki, Chakra energy work, Meditation, Obstacle Identification and Goals Planning, Tarot, Intuitive Reading, Dream Interpretation, Positive Visualization, meditation Bach Flower Remedy and more. I can see how my clients use both Life Coach and Spiritual Counselor to define what I do. Whatever the title, my goal always is to help a person connect with their own inner wisdom, to hear their own truth, unobstructed by what life has put upon it, what others have said about it. My goal always is to provide a clear answer with a practical pathway to follow. There is peaceful happiness available to every single person, and my wish is to help people understand and embrace this truth through thought and action. I work with a deep connection to spirit yet my practice is non-denominational non-prejudiced and is an appropriate accompaniment to any lifestyle.
I study forms of energy work, The Chakra system, Healing processes of the human body, meditation, channeling, Mystic Shamanism, The Sacred Feminine, and body/mind holism to help clients discover ways to alleviate suffering and create positive change.
How did I start reading Tarot?
Years ago, I started with a non-tarot deck based on teachings from the
I felt strongly drawn to early European practices of honoring nature and of the practices of Indian Tribes of North America. I came to learn that in my family tree, I have European and Indian ancestors, it seemed my path was actually making sense. But then, my first tarot deck came to me in the quintessential tarot manner. It was a gift. Well- known psychic and tarot reader, Thea Bloom was reading my cards, when she was done she pushed her deck to me and said, "you can do this." It was a turning point in my life and confirmed my belief in my ability as an intuitive And as many of my clients have voiced, sometimes confirmation is all you need.
How am I qualified as a healer and reader?
I am certified in Reiki through Reiki Master Jessica Miller. I have studied with the leading world scholars in Tarot, Mary Greer and Rachel Pollock. One of my current mentors is Kristin Cox, founder of the Canadian Tarot Network. My certification study is through the American Board of Tarot Certification and the Canadian Tarot Network. I am a member of the American Tarot Association ATA . I attend the (LATS)Los Angeles Tarot Symposiums and (MARS) Mary and Rachel Seminars and I associate through writing and other activities with organizations like Aclectic Tarot. I study Shamanism with Dr. Barbara Raven Lee , Ana Marie Gonzales and Dr. Elena Loboda ( Brain Neurochemist). I have studied Shambhala Buddhism at the Los Angeles Shambhala Center where I completed a Shambhala Warrior Training. I have attended many workshops, seminars and groups concerned with mediation, tarot, and intuitive/psychic practices. I publish articles and am creating my own tarot deck with respect to the sacred feminine and core ideas of the journey of the heroine in classic fairy tales. I also study Bach Flower Remedies, EFT, and Chakra energy. I practice sacred meditations, Qi Gong, and I study all year with an Abrahman Hicks group (Laws of: Attraction, Deliberate Creation and Allowance) and I am a member of a monthly goals group. Tarot, Reiki, Aura Reading and other tools/practices of intuition are ways in which I channel information and healing energy for the benefit my clients. I use dream interpretation and positive visualization techniques from different counseling philosophies. I benefit too from the connection I have with the community of Somatic Psychology practioners and the Hakomi Community.
What led me to Tarot, Reiki and Intuitive Healing?
I have had a connection with intuitive work since I was a child. As a girl I was very attuned to other's emotions. I would know what was going to happen in certain situations. My Family called me "sensitive" and "emotional." I have always seen what you can name guides or angels depending on your vocabulary. Everyone has the ability to hear and see beyond what we consider the physical world. The American culture does not honor these skills as much as it honors other abilities so the ideas of being in touch or intuitive or in tune are not taught in schools. Rather if a child does speak aloud any sort of seeing or understanding it is usually labeled "imagination" or "play."
For me intuition and imagination are very closely related. Part of being intuitive/psychic is learning to discern between intuition and imagination. I had a parent who honored my abilities in certain areas and played intuitive/psychic games with me. My favorite was guessing what animal was behind my little toy barn door.
Intuitive work is a calling. I endeavor to be in the service of my global community.
